How come this food doesn't have the high meat content symbol. In the ingredients it says "25% Chicken Meat Meal + 5% Fresh Chicken" How is that not 30% or am I missing something?

Hi Luke. The high-meat logo is awarded when the dry meat content is above 30%. This is the amount of meat that would be present if all of the moisture was removed and is the best way to compare different types of foods. Since fresh meat is roughly 70% water, 5% equates to much less when the water has been removed so this food doesn't cross the 30% threshold.

My Dobie loves this food and she looks great on it :-) I do feed her slightly less than the recommended amount for her weight as I've found if I fed her the recommended amount she put on too much weight, she's unspayed so I know this would be worse if she were. All in all a very good food.
