had my dogs on Wainwrights grain free kibble with small amount of tray food for flavour; decided for age reasons to switch to tray only, attracted by price, purchased mixed box Ww's meat + rice trays; after 3 weeks both dogs developed impacted anal glands. I have had these dogs (rehomers) for 4years, in that time one of them had this problem once so I conclude condition caused by food. I found small atea of mold in one tray, e-mailed P@H never got an answer. nil point for food & nil point for customer service.

I fed this for years and would have kept doing so happily, but both dogs suddenly went off it. It's excellent quality for the price.

I don't feed Wainwright's any longer due to severe allergies but would still recommend the Adult Trays to anyone whose dogs tolerate rice. Allergies appeared to onset around the time my Ridge back came into her first season and after negative skin scrapes, bloodwork was done and allergies determined as potato, wheat, corn, soy and rice, so we changed to raw feeding as we weren't aware of any suitable commercial food at the time, but I believe there are several good ones now, including Wainwrights grain-free.
I don't see us changing back to commercial from raw, but it's good to see quality commercial food available. I think the ingredients list being so short is a key factor in my liking Wainwrights; there's not much can go wrong when you keep it simple.

This food is amazing; our Lab had a runny tummy on every type of food recommended by the vet, and we were going to have to go down the route of a prescription diet which is hideously expensive, when we tried these. No more gastro-intestinal issues, he absolutely loves the food (mind you, he likes all food ... he's a Lab!) and a fair price. Can't ask for much more!

My Dogue de Bordeaux has three of the trays a day. He is offered the biscuit as well in the mornings bur rejects them. What I love about these are they are wheatfree and giving him wet food cuts down on the drooling by about 70% (which is a good thing!). I order a month at a time and they deliver for free on orders over about £40. He never has the runs on this food and never leaves any in the bowl.
