Nestle do not own Barking Heads, IPN own it, an independent UK investment firm. This website started so good but is now chock full of outdated, hence incorrect, info.

So glad to see that Barking Heads are now using Organic Selenium Saccharomyces Cerevisiae rather than the rather dodgy Sodium Selenite!

I've been feeding my dog the Turkey Delight now called Top Dog. On seeing that the ingredients had changed I rang Barking Heads head office to be told that "herbs" have now been added to the full range. Plus other subtle changes of ingredients. Not good news for me as my dog gets hay fever symptoms like sneezing and itching with herbs. So back to the drawing board

Despite the average rating I'm a fan of this food. I tried a few 'quality' grain free foods and my dogs toilet was not as firm as I'd like. She also scratched a lot. These foods all had rice in common so I decided to switch to a potato based one and hey presto! Better stools, no itching and a very beautiful coat. I mostly went with fusspot on price, would try the other potato ones but they're out of my price range really.

The composition of the Fish n Delish has changed. It now has 25% protein. I contacted the company to ask about it and they insist it hasn't changed they have only changed how it is written. Not sure how the protein can increase 2% without changing anything in the recipe! Looking at alternatives.

I have a working cocker spaniel who is very prone to colitis, and highly sensitive to chicken based foods. This food is our saviour, it is perfect for him and he has gained a little weight for the first time.

Having struggled to find a suitable food for my Chihuahua, I am so impressed with the Tiny Paws Grain Free Quackers from Barking Heads. We have tried many brands, wet and dry, with mainly unsucessful results. Since switching to this food his stools are now perfect, he can't wait for meal times, and his energy levels are now more constant. The slightly lower meat content, and the lack of lots of ingredients is probably the reason it suits him as some of the higher scoring high meat content foods were just too rich for him.My puppy is on the puppy version of this food, also with great sucess.I found their website informative and easy to use compared to some of the other companies, and the fact that the food is stocked in a lot of stores helps in being able to grab it off the shelf. The price may be a little higher than some of the others, but having such small dogs (both under 2kgs) for me makes this less of an issue as they don't get through as much food as most!Overall I am extremely impressed.

How many grams per day do you feed your Chihuahua and what is the dogs weight please. Trying to find an alternative for one of my Chihuahuas who can no longer eat Orijen due to it aggrevating her acid reflux.

I was really worried about my terrier’s poor appetite so I went to our vet and he recommended a natural dry pet food. I’m happy that she likes the taste of Fusspot and her appetite is improving.

I'm glad that it's been pointed out that their quote of 'meat content over 50%', is misleading - if not downright dishonest. Very few owners understand the dry/wet conversion required to calculate the real meat %..

I truly have the fussiest Schnauzer in the World! After going through the supermarket brands, I decided to try something a little more upmarket (also after reading a few reviews about the amount of rubbish that goes into cheap dog food). I tried a couple of Brands but it seems that this Barking Heads Fusspot is an all round winner. Finally something that my Poppy doesn't turn her nose up after a few days!

Barking Heads cant be serious, its one thing to go grain free but the idea is to increase the meat and bio available protein content, Ive seen more meat in a vegetarian kebab and do they really think people are stupid enough to pay such a extortionist price for a mere 12kg bag of such a lightweight product?? 3 star at the absolute most.
