Hi, I'm a little confused. I have a 16 wk old American standard bulldog. He weighs 16 kg at the moment. I currently feed him carnilove large breed puppy. According to your site it says its not suitable yet when you look at the standard puppy it says to move to large breed?

Hey @allaboutdogfood. Can you tell me how this is rated so high? I was under the impression that dog food that has meat meal is sub par, that that’s basically all the crap ground together and dried that isn’t suitable for human consumption. Was I wrong in this?

I have a GSD who was weaned onto raw food, but this was not something I wanted to continue with (final straw was when she carried a kidney from her food bowl onto the brand new carpet.) I still wanted to give her a high quality food though and came across Carnilove via this search tool. It is the cheapest high quality food for her and she loves it. I give her a bit of wet food to make the meal more palatable, either high quality wet dog food or some cooked chicken breast etc. sometimes with a raw egg and cononut oil. There is nothing more I could want from a dog food, her teeth, coat etc. is fantastic; she is a happy and healthy girl. She will stay on this brand until she is 2 (as per the feeding guidelines,) I will then re-evaluate and move her onto an adult food.100% recommendation from me!
