Manufacturer's product description

" Here at The Natural Dog Food Company we believe that for a happy, healthy dog, nature knows best. For that reason, our range of foods have:

No artificial ingredients

Are free from wheat, maize, dairy and soya

No by-products, derivatives or fillers

100% human grade ingredients

Hypoallergenic

Every ingredient used in Natural Dog Food is of the highest available quality and has been carefully selected to reflect the natural diet of the dog.

Furthermore, by combining a high proportion of fresh, human grade meat with our unique range of nutritional herbs, vegetables and whole grains we have been able to create the first complete dog food to contain every nutrient a dog needs without any artificial vitamin supplementation whatsoever.

Natural Dog Food Company have developed a range or foods for the mature dogs and younger dogs that are prone to weight gain which tend to face very similar challenges; joint strain, reduced mobility and impaired major organ function. Natural Dog Food Company Senior/Light caters perfectly for both groups of dogs with its broad selection of therapeutic herbs, specifically chosen to maintain mobility and organ function. Calorie content is kept low to help ensure a healthy weight is maintained whilst a marginally increased protein level helps to prevent the muscle wastage so often seen in dieting or older dogs and helps maintain muscle condition.

Our Fresh British Chicken and Turkey is from non-battery farmed higher welfare hens and straight out of the human food chain, that means no nasty off cuts like the feathers and feet used by some manufacturers. We believe this reflects in the health of your dog and certainly makes every meal time a happy occasion. "

I agree with Kerry - our pug puppy finds these irresistible and they make for an excellent training aid! Shop around for these and you'll get change out of £1.30, which in my opinion is a bargain considering how good they are.

My dog loves these and they are so much better than dry treats for training as they really smell meaty making my dog all the more motivated! They are also pretty much 100% meat. They are quite a small bag for the price but they are great quality so I'm not complaining about paying a little extra for my little pup!

Must say this is actually wrong. They do tell you what meats in them and there's no EC permitted antioxidants or various sugars. My dog is very sensitive and he loves these :-)

Apologies. The listing was quite outdated but has been corrected now.

Disappointed these scored so low as although I know the meat content can be of different origin my fussy Bichons love them. They obviously stink enough for the clamoring of treat time and overall apart from from some unsatisfying labelling of the actual meat content (do you question where your sausage meat comes from?) they do a fantastic job of food motivating the un-food motivated.

I was disappointed to find that the chicken treats have actually got a min 45% pork in them, not great for my itchy/allergy suffering Westie. Pity also that the ingredients is written so small in order to get all languages on the packet.
