Manufacturer's product description

" ROYAL CANIN® Mini Puppy food is formulated with the nutritional needs of your puppy in mind and is suitable for puppies aged 2-10 months that will have an adult weight of up to 10kg. Your puppy's growth period is such an essential stage in its life; it's the time of big changes and new discoveries. Within this period, your puppy's immune system is developing gradually. That's why ROYAL CANIN® Mini Puppy contains a patented complex of antioxidants - including vitamin E - to help support your puppy's natural defences as it grows. The shape of the kibble is small and easy to chew, perfect for your puppy's small mouth, and both the smell and flavour are optimised to tempt even the fussiest of dogs; it also helps to support its dental health and general oral hygiene. By containing a combination of nutrients with high quality protein (such as L.I.P - known for its high digestibility) as well as prebiotics, ROYAL CANIN® Mini Puppy supports the digestive health and balance of intestinal flora, which contributes to good stool quality by reducing faecal smell and quantity. My breeder started my puppy on royal canin and although he its it his stools have not been the best he trumps bad and he eats excessive amounts of grass. I have therefore been advised to get a more nutritional based product over 70% so we are transitioning to pooch and mutt soon

My pooch will scoff this but won’t touch the ‘good’ stuff like Akela and Acana. I’m gutted but I want my boy to enjoy his food so this will have to do until he’s older. Sometimes reading sites like this just creates stress. 😩

This is such and expensive food for not great quality ingredients. 'Maize, hydrolyses animal proteins, derivatives of vegetable origin, animal fat'
Thats great but what animal? and at least for goodness sake put percentages on so i know the ingredients arent chopping and changing from bag to bag. Very VERY expensive food. Moved to Canagan and seen such an amazing change in my dogs. They actually enjoy dinner and the vets have said they've never been healthier(for the record, my JRT had terrible allergies on this and Hill Science Plan hypoallergenic) Hypoallergenic my backside!
Too many people look at the front of the bag and see their pet isnt "externally" unwell, so they carry on feeding it and help fund the Mars Corporation to make even shittier cheap foods

Very enthusiastically eaten by all 5 Lhasa Apso pups in my litter, they
were on it dry by 6.5 weeks of age, nice tiny mouthfuls for very little
pups, and they soften extremely quickly even in cold water if your puppy
isn't up to chewing yet. Didn't notice any poorly belly's or vomiting on this food.

Breeder passed a bag of this with pup, unfortunately little dog would only eat with a lot of coaxing from me. Definitely not for her! Expensive to be wasting.

Breeder had been feeding pup on this dry complete, so originally continued feeding her this. Took quite a bit of tempting on my part to get her to eat it! Not really worth the cost. Expensive.
