Manufacturer's product description

" Combination of an exclusive formula low in calories and promoting satiety; an exclusive kibble and adjusted feeding guidelines to help maintain the ideal bodyweight of neutered adult dogs.

The mechanical actions of the kibble which help limit plaque are coupled with the inclusion of sodium tripolyphosphate, a calcium binder which limits availability of salivary calcium, delaying dental plaque calcification.

Combination of highly digestable proteins (L.I.P.** proteins), chicory pulp and fish oil to ensure maximum digestive tolerance. **L.I.P. (Low Indigestible Protein): protein selected because of its very high assimilation. "

I started my Yorkie on this as a pup on the vet's recommendation. At 18 months her breath smelled, she frequently vomited and her teeth were suffering. I moved her to Simpson's 80/20 and she's thriving and absolutely loves her food. Her breath is now fine and she's not been sick since I switched food.
