We were looking for a new food for our 7 year old border terrier, he was fed Naturo wet food but had started to have sloppy poos. We read all about cold pressed being a good food and decided to try Tribal after discussing with them all about our dogs dodgy tum. We changed from old to new food very slowly over a good couple of weeks. Our dog began vomiting and had reflux, his skin was flaky, dull coat, looked thin. He was drinking 3 bowls of water a day and started messing in the house - he began to look quite unwell. We took him off and started him on Pooch & Mutt health and digestion on a recommendation from this site. We are 3 weeks in and he is thriving and loves the kibble. No more sloppy poos either. We had read so much about cold pressed food, don't know if it is just this brand that is unsuitable for him but not willing to take the chance on purchasing another brand, will keep him on the pooch & mutt.

Looks like this was updated in Oct23, and has gone from 71% to 68% and lost its high meat content rating in the process. Although the instant review generator still gives it 30.5% meat content still with a 68% rating.

Hi - why is the carb level so high please? The ingredients don’t appear to indicate such a high level. I’m looking for a cold pressed to use alongside raw and this level of carb would probably mean non stop popping!? Thanks

This is the worst company to try and obtain nutritional information from. I spent weeks trying to discover the amount of copper in their sausage food, only to be fobbed off at every turn...hiding something I wonder ??

I'm considering Canagan and Tribal as a new diet to my Yorkshire.

I just would like to understand more why the carbohydrate level is so high.

Do I need to worry?

Why is this categorized as being from the Netherlands?

Because that's where it's made....look at the best before panel on the packet, it's stated on there.

My Bernese now 8 was not getting on with most foods he seemed to find most upset his stomach. Gone off all raw meats to except for tripe. Tried Tribal he has the senior turkey and also the salmon both agree with him he eats them no problems and has them topped with some raw tripe for each meal. Really pleased to of found Tribal been on it for a couple of months now and doing very well.

Switched my three mini schnauzers to this, so far only the salmon and have had no problems and they LOVE it, like the previous reviewer I fed canagan before.

Just switched my dog off Canagan and on to this as I wanted a cold pressed food available locally. Two weeks in, he much prefers Tribal. Bowl empty within minutes. Seems to have more energy too 😊
