Manufacturer's product description

" Only the best meat from food production serves as the basis for our new dried meat snacks. Hand selected, fine cuts of meat are gently dried. In addition to conventional air drying, we particularly rely on highly modern vacuum and freeze-drying plants.

Whole pieces of fillet or small morsels: The dried snacks always consist of 100% pure meat.

Air drying is one of the oldest processes for preserving foodstuffs. Heat and air circulation extract liquid from the meat during the drying process. So microorganisms can no longer multiply and the “dried” products are preserved. Disadvantage: protein structures and vitamins are damaged or destroyed through the high effect of heat. For instance, the decrease in vitamin C can be up to 50 %. B-group vitamins are degraded by up to 40 %. "
