WAGG working complete and wind!
« on: May 28, 2015, 22:10 »
Hi, I've just taken on a 9m old Pointer x Labrador bitch who has been fed on WAGG working complete. She has got horrendous wind, I'm wondering if it's the food as my other Labs are fed Wainwrights and have never had this problem. Anyone else's dogs experienced this problem with WAGG?

if there is an intolerance to grains, or other ingredients in the food, then yes, there could be a problem.

generally wind and bad smells are caused by grains fermenting in the intestines

I would agree with David. A dog shouldn't have excess flatulance if the food is being digested properly. As you are already a Wainwright's user, maybe their grain free version would be helpful.
