White label wet dog food
« on: Jan 13, 2018, 10:49 »
We already have a thread on white label dry dog food but AFAIK we haven’t discussed this in respect of wet food. I picked up an own label tray of wet food in my local pet supplies store this morning. The packaging is very similar to Forthglade 395g size.

There are just two flavours at the moment, chicken and lamb. The chicken recipe is:
Chicken 60%, rice 5%, peas 2%, carrots 2%, Salmon oil, seaweed, herbs, glucosamine, chondroitin, yucca extract, cranberry extract, yeast extract, vitamins and minerals.
Analysis: protein 10%, fat 7%, crude fibres 0.3%, ash 3%, moisture 72.5%.
It scores 4.4 on the Instant Review Generator.

Retail price is £1.11p, a little cheaper than Forthglade. Wondering if this is something that our retail members are selling and if it is made by Golden Acres?
