Well I finally received confirmation that Rip Off Britain’s pet food piece is to be aired on April 22nd at 9.15am on BBC1!
It was filmed way back in November and my interview alone was 2 hours. Gloria Hunniford was genuinely interested (not to mention shocked) at what I had to say on the subject of pet food ingredients and labelling and we covered some really important points that, if kept in, could really rock the industry. Of course, with the final piece only lasting around 8 minutes, the cut will have to be brutal and only time will tell what they will leave in and what will never see the light of day.
One thing is for sure, with over 1 million regular viewers, the potential of this programme is enormous so with a bit of luck, the BBC is ready to rock the boat!
