Home made treats

The Kennel Club's Easter homepage has a link to some lovely home made treat recipes: Easter homemade dog treats.

My two have Dog Chef home made biscuits for bedtime. It's a simple way of baking because the mix is in a packet. We have tried all the various flavours but settled on Tuna Bites. have to say that they smell delicious.

Many healthy treats can be dehydrated. The process takes a long time in the oven so a dehydrator is probably the best option for this. There's a blog about this here. This type of treat would be useful for training as low calorie options could be used.

If anyone has any good ideas for home made treats, please feel free to add to this thread.

I wasn't so keen on meat grinding to make treats but we'll done to all who can stomach it.
