So hi! I jumped right in with a question, so I guess I should come here and introduce myself! I am married mum of 2 grown up kids, and owner of the most gorgeous golden retriever in the world, 20 month old Alfie. We also have 2 cats, Poppy & Oscar and various fish 

I live in a small village just outside Grimsby, and work as a Trading Standards Officer here in North East Lincolnshire.

I have always been a cat person, Alfie was my present to hubby on his 50th birthday, as he has always adored goldies. Safe to say, I am now firmly also a dog person!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Alfie looks delightful. Many years ago I too bought OH a puppy for his 50th birthday - he says that she was the best present he has ever had. Sadly, that was a long time ago and she died some years ago.
It is good that you are both enjoying Alfie’s company.

Hello and welcome to the forum. From the expression on his face, Alfie looks like a real character. What a fabulous 50th present. It is my OH's coming up soon but I don't think he would appreciate a puppy
