I have just discovered that Yora Pate contains carrageenan as a thickener. The information came from the manufacturer.

I have just received three packets of Yora Pate that I ordered online, only to discover It has Carrageenan as a thickener. I am now worried about using it.

I wondered if anyone on here has used it and has your dog had any problems?

Just how dangerous is it?

My lurcher has been on this since 4 months (now 10 months) and finds it great. Recommended amounts are quite a bit too low though, so although it can be found at a cheaper price than the calculator uses, it still works out a bit more expensive....

At the moment you can only add 2 dogs in one go, and then add your others after you've placed an order - it's a temporary limitation on the website.

Lpgjag, totally agree with your comment. Some of the vet recommended diets are not at all good, you only have to look at this site to view what is or not in these foods.

Do NOT buy this food. I had my mini schnauzer on it, the salmon one and it gave her pancreatitis and she was hospitalised for 2 days. Rancid vegetables fats caused it. I HATE this company for this.

I am trying to work out if this food is cheaper than Butternut Box but it will only allow me to put in two dogs and I have more then two.
