Manufacturer's product description

" Developed by Veterinary Surgeon, John Burns, who recognised that poor nutrition was the cause of many common health problems in pets. Burns Sensitive+ is hypo-allergenic, so it is suitable for sensitive dogs. It is formulated without ingredients such as wheat, soya, dairy, artificial colourings and artificial preservatives which are known to cause symptoms of food intolerance including itchy skin, digestive upset, excessive moulting, full anal glands and waxy ears. It contains all the nutrients a dog needs and avoids those which cause the build up of toxic waste in the system. Read how toxic build-up can affect health in John Burns's Health & Nutrition handbook. "

I recommend this food as we board & rescue. We also like the vat free working burns kibbles. Our dogs have solid non smelly faeces on this brand and keep weight on well. They also enjoy eating it. We receive donations of food so we know which brands work best in practice.
