Carrots are excellent sources of vitamin A (which is used in the eye to maintain healthy vision), as well as numerous minerals, soluble fibre and abundant natural anti-oxidants. Once cooked, carrots are relatively easily digested by dogs.

I have a Scottie 7yrs. and she needs more veg in her food can i just add this to her dry kibble (Eden), or should I try to find a feed with less protein, she appears very constipated in the mornings. Advice please

Carrots (raw) make a good alternative to dental chews. Take longer to chew too!
