Manufacturer's product description

" Available in 2kg or 10kg eco packs, Farmhouse Turkey & Duck is a complete grain free premium British dry dog food and is gently pressed with apple, ginger and cranberry in our Scottish factories.

We gently press our ingredients at low temperatures to retain nutrients, helping aid digestion and promote all round health. Our recipes use only quality ingredients to help improve your dog's skin, coat and immune system.

Turkey is low in fat and high in protein, while duck is a good source of vitamin B. Our recipe also contains apple which is a good source of fibre and vitamin C, and cranberry to promote good urinary health.

Now in recyclable eco packs, our cold pressed comes in 2kg and 10kg boxes with the option to simply replace the inner bag with our refill bag when it comes to reordering. It is important not to over feed, as cold pressed dog food is nutritionally dense you will need to feed around 30% less than traditional kibble.

When introducing Wilsons for the first time, ensure you gradually switch over from your previous dog food. Read our feeding guide for more information.

Remember to provide a ready source of fresh water and store food in a cool, dry area. "

Our dog is not normally a fussy eater but he won’t touch this with a stick. I even bought salmon oil to mix it with and he just refuses it. It looked so good I bought a 15kg box and now we don’t know what to do with it

It's cold pressed, says on Wilson's website that it is cooked with less heat and less processing, leaving all the essential nutrients your dog needs.

Why has this got such a high rating when it’s mainly made up of carbs instead of meat?!

Beats me how this wedsite works tbh…. Something with 50% fresh meat at start is processed and ends up being 75% carb. I just don’t understand . I also don’t get the wheels where it show high med or low in a source like fat, protein etc . You look at the dial and the have different values one goes to 50 another to different figure . Surely they should all go to 100, and a figure as percentage given

Good question, I’ve wasted money buying this product before I knew about this site and able to compare details, live and learn I guess
