Has anyone experienced this food passing through their dog undigested?
Yorkiemum 2 months ago
Unfortunately they have changed the flaxseed oil to coconut oil in the stay supple fish supper. They’re saying it’s better absorbed than the flaxseed oil but I’m not happy about the change as coconut oil is a saturated fat and not great for heart health. While okay occasionally I would not want my dog eating this frequently.I used to mix the fish recipe with the lamb to lower the fat content and include more proteins in her diet rather than mainly turkey which is generally lower in fat.My dog gets very itchy with chicken & beef & venison so I avoid.I mix the pork ragu with keep me trim turkey again to lower the fat and include more proteinsMy dogs breed is prone to pancreatitis,so I try and keep the fat content lower.Rotating the meals with turkey fricassee.

Does anybody feed this to their dog as a topper with kibble?

Hi, absolutely! Some of our customers choose to feed our recipes as a topper alongside other food, which is an excellent way of accessing the nutrients from our fresh ingredients. When you fill your details in on our website, you can select whether you want to feed it as a complete meal or as a topper which will automatically calculate the correct amount and cost for your dog. If you'd like any more information about feeding as a topper, please do not hesitate to contact us at feedme@differentdog.com.
